I’ve found that with most moisturizing shampoos and conditioners I tend to break out on my scalp. But with the nourishing collection I still get the moisture my hair needs and it does so not effect my scalp negatively at all.

Beautiful, Beachy Hair

Austin is one of our unsung heroes at the Gene Juarez Salon at University Village.  She is always busy running from the front desk to the office to ensure our day runs smoothly.  Being a supervisor can be demanding that way.   I'm always impressed that even though she has this extremely long, blonde, beautiful hair, I never see her wear it up in a ponytail or clip.  She usually wears it smooth, polished, with a little bit of curl. So imagine my surprise today when I came in and saw this beautiful beachy effect.

Holiday Party Hair

The holidays are such a great time to be able to express yourself with all the cheer and merriment that’s in the air.  I love it when people have non-traditional holiday parties or theme parties because I feel like this gives us hairdressers a chance to express ourselves as well.

It seems like this season is more about haircuts/styling than it is about "updos".  I've been encouraging my guests to make a change in their cut or color during the holidays, rather than doing some elaborate "do".  What better time to showcase a new style than at a family gathering or holiday party?
