Lately I’ve been really appreciating medium hold hair spray. I’ve always loved hair sprays but Saturday I had an extra amount of love for them.

Austin is one of our unsung heroes at the Gene Juarez Salon at University Village.  She is always busy running from the front desk to the office to ensure our day runs smoothly.  Being a supervisor can be demanding that way.   I'm always impressed that even though she has this extremely long, blonde, beautiful hair, I never see her wear it up in a ponytail or clip.  She usually wears it smooth, polished, with a little bit of curl. So imagine my surprise today when I came in and saw this beautiful beachy effect.

The holidays are such a great time to be able to express yourself with all the cheer and merriment that’s in the air.  I love it when people have non-traditional holiday parties or theme parties because I feel like this gives us hairdressers a chance to express ourselves as well. 

As the cold weather is slowly approaching and holiday cheer is in the air, it seems like everyone uses holiday parties and staying warm as an reason to keep their hair long. I think winter is as good of a time as any to make that big change and cut your hair off!
